Are you old enough to remember straw-covered Chianti bottles in inexpensive Italian restaurants? In those days Chianti, by law, had to include white Italian grapes and wasn't the wine that it is today. If you haven't tasted Chianti in a while try it, with one of the dishes recommended below. If you're making the pasta at home use your imagination for the ingredients. And don't be afraid to experiment with the wine. Here are a few suggestions for pairing pasta and wine. We also include suggestions for pairing risotto and wine, although strictly speaking risotto is a rice dish, not a pasta dish. Enjoy!
