Pineapple and Ham pizza, you like it or you hate it.
A lot of people call a Pineapple and Ham pizza a Hawaiian pizza, except in Hawaii. Fruit on pizza? I don't think so, but this is one popular pie. Could it be because the tomato is officially a fruit? The idea is that the pineapple's acidity balances the ham's saltiness. A popular variant substitutes bacon or Canadian bacon for the ham.
In addition to the wines mentioned in our food pairing table you might consider a Vigonier white wine or a Pinot Noir red, especially if your pizza has mushrooms. (Excuse me, I wouldn't want to combine pineapple and mushrooms.)
