Reuilly
Reuilly AOC wines come from the Central Vineyards area of the Loire Valley wine region of central France. They tend to be fairly acidic. The fruity, dry, medium-body reds are made from Pinot Noir or Pinot Gris and may be cellared for 2 to 5 years. The whites are very dry or dry and grassy. They are made from Sauvignon Blanc wines and may be cellared for 1 to 2 years. The rosés are very dry or dry. They are made from Pinot Gris and may be cellared for 2 to 5 years.

Rivesaltes AOC wines come from the Languedoc-Roussillon region in southeastern France. The reds are They represent half of all the vin doux naturel French sweet wines. The astringent reds and rosés taste of chocolate and cherry liqueur. They are made from Grenache and several other mostly local, mostly red grapes. They may be cellared for 10 to 40 years. The whites and tawnies are raisiny and taste of candied fruit peel. They are made from a wide variety of international and local white grapes. You may cellar them for 10 to 20 years.



Rosé de Loire
Rosé de Loire AOC wines come from the Loire Valley region of central France. This is an umbrella classification. These dry, light- to medium-bodied wines are made from a variety of local and international grapes including a minimum of 30% Cabernet Franc. These wines should be consumed upon purchase, if at all.

Rosé des Riceys
Rosé des Riceys AOC wines come from the Champagne wine region of northeastern France. These still wines are made from the red Pinot Noir grape. Quality varies but the best are quite find.

Rosette
Rosette AOC wines come from the southwest region of France. These delicate, fruity sweet whites are made from Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc, and Muscadelle grapes and may be cellared for 4 to 8 years.

Rousette du Bugey
Rousette du Bugey AOC wines come from the Jura and Savoie wine region of eastern France near the Swiss border. They attained the AOC designation in 2006. These light, off-dry whites are made from the local Rousette grape and may be cellared for 1 to 3 years.

Rousette de Savoie
Rousette de Savoie AOC wines come from the Jura and Savoie wine region of eastern France near the Swiss border. They are dryer than the above wines and taste of tangy fruit. These tangy fruity wines are made from Roussette, Mondeuse Blanche, and Chardonnay and may be cellared for 1 to 3 years.
