Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh
Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh AOC wines come from the wine region of southwest France. These floral whites range from off-dry to sweet. They are made from a variety of local grapes with a maximum of 10% Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon. They may be cellared for 3 to 7 years.

Palette
Palette AOC wines come from Provence in southeastern France. The reds are high-quality, the whites are dry and aromatic, and the rosés are well-made. They all allow a wide variety of mostly local grapes. You may cellar the reds for 7 to 20 years and the rosés from 1 to 3 years. Drink the whites upon purchase.



Patrimonio
Patrimonio AOC wines come from the island of Corsica off the coast of Italy. The reds are fruity, the fragrant whites light and dry, and the rosés have an elegant flavor. They all may use the white Vermentino grapes, the reds and rosés allow Grenache and two Corsican red grapes. These wines may be cellared for 1 to 3 years.

Pécharmant
Pécharmant AOC wines come from the wine region of southwest France. They are flavorful, tannic red wines made from Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Malbec grapes and may be cellared for 4 to 12 years.

Pineau des Charentes
Pineau des Charentes AOC wines come from the Cognac region between the Loire Valley and Bordeaux. The whites and rosés are vin de liqueur made from a variety of international and local grapes and should be consumed upon opening, if at all.

Pinot
Pinot AOC wines come from the Alsace region of northeastern France. These white wines are made from a range of Pinot grapes including Pinot Noir. This is a fast growing category of Alsace wine. These wines may be cellared for 2 to 4 years.

Pinot Gris
Pinot Gris AOC wines come from the Alsace region of northeastern France. These white wines are made from the Pinot Gris grape, known locally as Tokay d'Alsace. They are off-dry and rich with fine acidity and may be cellared for 5 to 10 years.

Pinot Noir
Pinot Noir AOC wines come from the Alsace region of northeastern France. The reds are a work in progress but some of the producers are excellent. They may be cellared for 2 to 6 years. The rosés are fruity and rarely exported. They may be cellared for 1 to 2 years.

Pouilly Fumé
Pouilly Fumé AOC wines come from the Central Vineyards region in the Loire Valley of central France. These were once the world's most elegant Sauvignon Blancs but you have to seek out the fine ones. They may be cellared for 2 to 5 years.

Pouilly-sur-Loire
Pouilly-sur-Loire AOC wines come from the Central Vineyards region in the Loire Valley of central France. These dry, light-bodied white wines are of variable quality. Drink them upon purchase, if at all.
