Graves
The Graves AOC runs along the left bank of the Garonne River. The reds tend to provide good value for the money. They may be cellared for 6 to 15 years. The whites are much spottier so you should know your producer. You may cellar the ordinary whites for 1 to 2 years, but the best whites may be cellared for 8 to 20 years.

Graves de Vayres
The Graves de Vayres AOC is a small area in the Entre-Deux-Mers district. You might guess from its name that the soil is gravelly. Both reds and whites are produced. The trend here is away from sweet whites.

Graves Supérieur
The Graves Supérieur AOC is white only, most of them are dry. They may be cellared for 6 to 15 years.
